Maru Sankaku Peke - Short Sleeve Tee Shirt - Green
Once again, it's nearly impossible to find any information on Maru Sankaku Peke's garments. Even when we buy them, we're mostly going off a lookbook and flat lays with no description. It's pretty maniacal, to be honest, but after we took our initial shot and with Studio's backing, you really can't go wrong with their garments. They're manufactured to the same spec and quality control as the rest of Studio. And it adds a bit of mystery to the brand that we really like. This tee was so intriguing because of the little spots or dots you see riddled throughout the shirt. We've gleaned that these shirts are made using a process of garment dyeing (which fades beautifully) and then a further process called Ozoning. You can see both horizontal character and spots throughout the shirt giving them instant character. The other incredible part of this shirt is its boxy fit. We were honestly shocked. Scope the fit notes for more details. We don't often see this roomy, comfy cut from our Japanese brands.

Fit Notes: Most of our Japanese brands are considered to have a small fit, but that's where MSP breaks the mold. They love to do things with a boxy cut, and this definitely has that. What it winds up looking like is just standard US sizing which is great for us. Tommy is wearing a large in the images, but could easily wear a medium and would probably buy the medium. Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with a 40" chest.
